✦ Jyotiṣa · The Nine-Star Wheel ✦

Navatāra Chakra

The Sun rules the body through the rāśi; the Moon rules the mind through the nakṣatra. From your birth star, the twenty-seven lunar mansions arrange themselves into three cycles of nine tārās — a map of friendly and hostile skies — with a full Śūla (vitality) analysis, location-based birth entry, and verified ephemeris math.

Birth details

Nothing you enter leaves this page — all calculation is local.

Method. Positions are computed locally from Meeus’ Astronomical Algorithms (ELP-derived lunar series, ~10″ accuracy; apparent solar longitude ~30″) with the true Lahiri (Chitrāpakṣa) ayanāṁśa calibrated to Swiss-Ephemeris values within ±1″. Birth-place entry resolves coordinates and the historical, DST-aware UTC offset from the IANA time-zone database; a built-in city list answers when offline. The nine-fold tārā count runs on the 27-star ring; the 28-star (Abhijit) scheme is offered for the special tārās after the Cole/Rath lineage. Ghāṭaka stars follow the classical muhūrta table. Nothing is transmitted or stored. For reflection, not prediction.
